The team leader is an entry level position in management for our feedmill. Hunter Nutrition is a specialized feed manufacturer. Our 58,000 sq ft plant manufacturer’s texturized, pelleted, and mineral/premix feeds. We are located just north of West Lafayette in Brookston, Indiana. Qualified individuals will have some team leader or supervisory experience. They will also possess a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and have excellent attendance records. Other requirements are; forklift experience, a minimum of 2 years work experience at a single company, mechanical skills, and good attention to detail. Agriculture experience, production experience, and an interest in machinery is a plus. Job description is a working position with responsibility for the feedmill and production. The team leader is responsible for manufacturing feed, quality control, shipping & receiving, inventory control, customer service, and equipment/plant maintenance. We are looking for carreer oriented, dedicated individual, who is concerned about our business and the quality of the products it manufactures. We offer good working hours of 7:30 am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday; off most weekends and holidays. However attendance during the workweek is critical in order for us to allow employees to work these hours; having their evenings and most weekends free. The selected candidate will start work as a team leader trainee for the first 90 days. They will be moved to the position of team leader after the training and probationary period are completed. The workweek is typically 45 hours; so 40 regular hours, plus 5 overtime hours are paid weekly. Feed Mill Worker

Office Manager
Position is open

The Office Manager is responsible for managing our feedmill office. Hunter Nutrition is a specialized feed manufacturer. Our 58,000 sq ft plant manufacturer’s texturized, pelleted, and mineral/premix feeds. Our newly remodeled 1500 sq. ft office is adjacent to the feedmill. We are located just north of West Lafayette in Brookston, Indiana. Qualified individuals will have a positive attitude, be well organized, have a good employment history, and  a good work ethic.  Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Previous office experience is required. The Office Manager must have good office and computer skills. We use One Write Plus Accounting software, MS Xcel, MS Word, MS Publisher, and MS Access. Job description is an office manager who is responsible for customer service, answering the phone, order processing, billing, posting and managing accounts receivable, posting and filing of accounts payable, generating customer statements, operating office machines, direct mailings, maintaining files(computer and paper) , maintaining our mailing list, filling literature requests, greeting walk in customers, keeping notebooks updated, UPS shipping, inventory tracking, and office cleaning, We are looking for a dedicated individual who is concerned about our business and the quality of service we provide. We offer good working hours of 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday; off weekends and holidays. However attendance during the workweek is critical in order for us to allow employees to work these hours; having their evenings and weekends free. The office manager will work here from about 7:45 am until 5:15 pm. The selected candidates will start work with a 90 day probationary period. It is preferred that student feed mill workers have forklift experience; but not required. We will train you for the job here including forklift operation. However if you have any of the following work experience it is a plus: farming/agri-business experience, feedmill experience, or manufacturing experience. Hunter Nutrition is a specialized feed manufacturer. Our 58,000 sq ft plant manufacturer’s texturized, pelleted, and mineral/premix feeds.
